A little history
In 1981 Rene came to Aruba as a nurse, working in the operating room(11 years), in 1983 he met Windie, who was
working with her dad in the sailing business.
As avid divers they both got their scuba-instructors license and what started as a hobby grew into nowadays Aquatic
facility, with what some say the largest dive shop in the Caribbean, plus their own training pool for all kinds of
aquatic activities and a small restaurant which is open for breakfast and lunch.
This year their sons Roel(23) and Sjoerd(21) have joined their parents, to help out with the daily operation of the
business.
Over the years Windie and Rene build up quite a reputation for excellent service and hospitality, specialized in the
more personal approach in activities like scuba-instruction, snorkeling and scuba-diving.
